Son Nguyen has studied industrial engineering with specialization in engineering, manufacturing and fi nance at the Technical University of Braunschweig and the CORVINUS University of Budapest. Following his successful completion of the degree in 2004, the son of the LOTUS founder worked for the Strategic Purchasing and Sales in the Automotive Division of Robert Bosch GmbH for four years. From 2007 to 2013, Son Nguyen was a Top Management Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He last worked there as a Principal in Germany, South Africa and London, until he entered the management of his father‘s company in 2014.
He studied at RWTH Aachen University and graduated in mechanical engineering, specializing at the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV) Aachen. After completing his studies, Nguyen Nhu Khue assumed top-level management positions in leading companies of the plastics industry, such as Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI), the European Vinyls Corporation (EVC) and the Krauss-Maff ei Group. In 1995, he founded the Lotus Chemical Technology Ltd. and the LOTUS Chemical Technology GmbH, for which he has been the Managing Director since then. Until December 2013, he served as the Managing Partner for RKW LOTUS Ltd. in Saigon. Today, Nguyen Nhu Khue remains a member of the Supervisory Board of RKW LOTUS Ltd.
